Eye on Malaysia

  • In preparation for the celebration of 50 years of independence, the government of Malaysia was looking for a signature project to launch the Visit Malaysia Year 2007. It chose to have a 60 meter tall observation wheel in the capital Kuala Lumpur. In cooperation with partner MST Ad Suria, JN Entertainment & Leisure Consultancy sourced the attraction, arranged the financing, installed and set up operations for the Eye on Malaysia. The attraction was opened by the Prime Minister of Malaysia.
  • Originally estimated to have 360,000 visitors in one year, the project became a sound success, realising more than one million visitors in less than 10 months. This success prompted the government to extend the project with another 8 months. By the end, almost two millions visitors has enjoyed views over the skyline of Kuala Lumpur.
